 Argentina checkmark_green.png   Effective June 1, 2005.
 Australia  checkmark_green.png   Effective September 1, 2004.  The bark-free requirement for wood packaging is no longer in effect.  Beginning July 1, 2010 Australia will begin accepting wood packaging that complies with the bark tolerances indicated in ISPM 15.  The bark-free declaration is still required, however, the ISPM 15 bark tolerance limits will apply.

 Brazil  checkmark_green.png   Effective June 1, 2005.  In the absence of ISPM 15 packaging, the packaging must be free of bark, live insects, and signs of of potential insect infestation (insect damage).
 Canada  checkmark_green.png   Effective July 5, 2006.  Wood packaging originating in the United States is currently exempt from the ISPM 15 requirement.  Note: this exemption is set to expire in the near future and enforcement of ISPM 15 will be phased in gradually over a period of a few years.  This information will be updated when implementation dates have been established.

The wood must be free of grub holes larger than 3mm caused by the genus Monochamus spp. AND the wood moisture content at time of production must not exceed 20%.

Coniferous WPM:  is required to be free from bark, free from live pests and grub holes greater than 3mm caused by Monochamus spp. (sawyer beetles) and produced from lumber which achieved a MC of less than 20% at the time of manufacture. 
Non-coniferous WPM:  must be free from bark and live pests or signs of contamination.
These regulations also apply to the following countries:
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.
